I had mentioned in a thread last week that I was waiting for my 6" Zone Suspension lift to arrive. Well, I found out 4 days ago that the government here (provincial) is changing the vehicle inspection laws starting June 1st making it illegal to have any lift or lowering kits on you vehicle...
I was fortunate to have dodged a bullet in that I was able to cancel my lift order and get my downpayment fully refunded. But there are a lot of people that are going to be paying through the nose to get their rides back to OEM spec if they want to have it on the road.
I already have the 35" tires and rims bought so I am going to do a W code spring swap and increase the rear lift block so that the suspension components will still be OEM. It's the only way I can figure to get around this draconian/communist legislation thats coming. at least when the Vehicle Compliance guys pull me over to do a road side check, the springs and blocks will have Ford stamped on them....
